As the Freight Operations Manager, Ian oversees the LTL/TL and TMS products at GTMS. This role also includes overseeing GTMS logistics international operations team, providing our partners cutting edge logistical solutions to keep their supply chains moving. With over 15 years of experience working in the Inventory Management and transportation logistics field, Ian has provided service to a wide array of market sectors.
Starting his career in support of the retail industry, supplying inventory and transportation solutions with both dry van and refrigerated options for a multitude of brick and mortar & online retailers. Using this experience, Ian moved into planning & logistics role with an asset-based trucking company with a focus on the construction and transportation projects. Transitioning over time, into a position overseeing global freight logistics in support of the Department of Defense.
Ian enjoys spending his time with his wife and son. He also enjoys fishing, golfing, and hiking, as well as traveling with his family.
